Automatically configures iCal + Google Calendar syncing in OS X (Leopard only). I manually set up syncing a few months ago and it works pretty well, though I prefer Google’s web interface.

He also mentions the new TV advertising model called C3 that networks are using to gauge viewership across time-shifted platforms like TiVo.

Hulu CEO Jason Kilar responds to criticisms about his service being “just a place for reruns.” He notes the importance of offering reruns and dismisses rumors about Hulu entering the original content game:
We have no plans to do that anytime soon. We’re distributors.

The Writers Guild of America (WGA) said yesterday that big media companies weren’t honoring the contract that ended last year’s 100-day writer’s strike by failing to pay residuals for work used in new media.

Why I didn't wear my "I voted" sticker
For the first time ever I declined to wear my “I voted” sticker. Part of it has to do with my increasing feelings of discontent with the U.S. electoral system. Part of it has to do with the wave of free offers and discounts businesses are giving away to voters.
